For many people experiencing hardship, clothing isn’t just a necessity\u2014it’s a source of dignity, warmth, and even opportunity. A clean shirt can boost confidence during a job interview. A warm coat can mean the difference between comfort and struggle during cold months. Your unused clothes can play a bigger role in someone else\u2019s story than you might imagine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Start by selecting items you haven\u2019t worn in the past year. Ask yourself: Would I feel good receiving this item? If the answer is yes, it\u2019s a great candidate for donation. Look for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before donating, wash all clothing. Check for rips, stains, or missing buttons. We always say: If you wouldn\u2019t give it to a friend, it might not be right to give to someone in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
