I’ve been coming to Marbella Hair Salon for over a year now, and Monica is a magician with color! She totally gets what I want—even when I can’t explain it well. My hair looks amazing every time, and I love the relaxed, personal vibe here. Highly recommend booking in advance! I can highly recommend Monica for color, cut and straightening, since I have had those services and she does a beautiful job. My hair grows like a weed, so I get to visit quite often and it is always a pleasure. Not only is Monica extremely likable and super easy to converse with, but her salon is quiet, serene and beautifully decorated...It always makes me feel like I was relaxing at a spa. This is my before and after shots...I always feel amazing when I leave her salon!

I've never had a hairstylist like Monica! She always knows exactly what I want and makes my hair look absolutely fabulous every single time. Even when I bring in inspo pictures, she not only matches the look but also tailors it to suit my face shape and personal style. I honestly can't recommend her enough--she is the BEST!!

I have been going to Monica for over a decade and she never disappoints! She is a master colorist and my hair is tough to hold color and I have several going at once. She is always up on all the trends, is very gentle, and is a perfectionist (in a very good way) in getting your hair perfect! At the risk of her getting extremely busy, she is very affordable in my book. This is my before and after shots...I always feel amazing when I leave her salon!
I have gone to Monica for about 3 years since I moved from Dallas to Austin. My husband and sister in law also go to her! She is amazing and her prices are very reasonable!! We love her so much and would not trust anyone else! She has moved locations to off 183 and 360 near the world market and Dave and busters. Love the new location and the early morning hours. I can get my hair cut and colored before I even have to be at work! She did my hair for my wedding and my husband could not stop Complimenting me on how good my hair looked!! She also has mimosas for some Saturday appointments!! I love that I found such a great stylist and friend!!
I have been going to Monica for years. Even when I moved to San Antonio, I still make the drive up there! She is always nice and courteous. She listens to what I want and always has great suggestions and give TONS of attention to detail. I am a firm believer in you get for what you pay for and she exceeds expectations all the time. She should charge more for the quality of service she gives. (Please don't - 🙂 )
When I decided to let my hair grow long, I knew who to go to. I couldn't be happier with the results. I get so many compliments from my co-workers about how good my hair looks. My hair is naturally wavy and the Brazilian hair treatment she gave me is AMAZING! If you are looking for a great stylist, you found her! You won't be sorry!
I have been going to Monica for almost 8 years. I get my hair highlighted and cut and I always leave feeling great! I know this is silly, but I didn't really want to post a review online because I was worried that eventually I wouldn't be able to get an appointment with her if she got too busy. But my husband kind of encouraged me since he is also a business owner who appreciates reviews. So here I am! Monica makes me feel beautiful! She also works around my crazy work schedule.

Monica is awesome. I had tried one of those "Groupon" deals for a Brazilian Blowout at another salon and that was such a nightmare. My hair came out fried! I explained my hesitation about getting it done again to Monica, but she reassured me that I would love the results. She has done so many of these that I am sure that she can do it with her eyes closed! Needless to say, I love my hair now. She even did my highlights in the same visit! I will never go anywhere else but with Monica.

I finally found my forever hairdresser, Monica! I used to jump from hair dresser to hair dresser and was never happy with the end results. I was looking for a natural look with highlights and nice cut and no other hairdresser really understood or maybe they just didn't know about color. It is very important to go with a hairdresser that really understands and is a true expert in color when you want to get highlights & color. And not to mention, that it is hard to find a color expert that really knows what they are doing without paying an arm and a leg. Monica is fair and is a true expert in color, cuts and styles. She gave me that natural look I was looking for when the other hairdressers made me look like I had a brassy gold color that did not look very natural at all. It was horrible. You have got to try Monica because I know that you will love the end results too! I also got an updo done by Monica last weekend for my wedding anniversary and it turned out beautiful! I got so many compliments from strangers. I am happy to say I found my forever hairdresser!!!

Monica is an amazing hairstylist. She always gives top notch service and is very attentive. I go routinely for grey touch ups, haircuts and the occasional Brazilian blowout. Highly recommend.
Monica is the best hair stylist ever! Took me a very long time to find the best in Austin, having gone through a ton of places, many very, much more expensive. Not that the previous experiences at other places were bad... they were just not exactly what I wanted. Every time I leave Monica's appointment it is a celebration of great look and great mood, cannot stop looking at myself in the mirror, get so many compliments on my hair constantly (even when the cut is about to get refreshed and I did not really do my hair), literally get stopped in the stores with questions where I had it done and many of those by men for their women:). Besides the wonderful atmosphere, superb stylist skills, products and pace of the appointment, I always get the color, cut and the length exactly as I want it (many stylists before left the hair much longer than I wanted, being afraid to overdo, I guess). And sometimes I get tired of style and ask for advice and it is always right on. My best friend and an award winning stylist from Europe who used to do my hair back in the day and who now lives and works in London keeps making sure I never even think of going anywhere else to do my hair, but Monica, my cuts and color always get stunning compliments:) LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! I hope Monica never moves from Austin or I will have to move wherever she is:)
You cannot go wrong by getting a hair service done by Monica!! I have been going to Monica at Marbella Hair Studio for almost 5 years now to get the Thermal Reconditioning treatment for my very curly hair. I don't even live that close to Austin anymore, but I still find a way to get down there for my treatment every 8 months, very, very worth it! Monica is great at what she does and is a hair wizard!!
