American Human Shirts

Made Here. Worn Everywhere.

Founded on July 4, 2020, American Human Shirts began with a single sketch. John Spooner drew an eagle across the American flag and turned the drawing into a working prototype using spare fabric. Early feedback focused on design strength and minor fit issues. He used those insights to refine every detail across twenty sample rounds.

He sourced cotton from certified farms in the state of Georgia. He partnered with a Cleveland-based printer that uses water-based inks. American Human Shirts is built on discipline, not marketing trends. The product reflects real standards. The origin is American. The result is visible.

Our Standard

We use U.S.-grown cotton tested for fiber strength and consistency. Yarn is spun in Carolina Mills with decades of operational expertise. Printing is handled using low-emission, eco-certified methods.

Every piece is sewn and cut in the USA by trained groups in controlled, equitable work conditions.

Prior to shipping, each shirt is subjected to a five-point check for alignment of seams, color match, stitching quality, fiber strength, and finishing work on fabric. Orders are shipped in compostable materials, and carbon emissions are offset by certified reforestation projects.

Brand Purpose

American Human Shirts Exists to Represent Quality, Identity, and Nation

Every part of the brand reflects a controlled process backed by real people, tested materials, and a clear standard of excellence. The focus is on quality without compromise. The brand communicates American values through clothing built to last.
