Details: Inlet &amp; Pipe connections: 1\/2\u2033.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how to set the Spraying Systems Piston-Type Pressure Relief\/Regulating Valve using the no-flow, no-gauge method:<\/p>\n<p>Bypass Adjustment Without a Gauge (Field Method):<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Ensure No Flow in the System:\n<ul>\n<li>Close the wand or downstream valve so the system is pressurized but not flowing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Tighten the Bypass All the Way:\n<ul>\n<li>Turn the adjustment knob clockwise until it\u2019s fully closed. This prevents any bypass initially.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Slowly Back It Out Until You See Flow:\n<ul>\n<li>Begin turning the knob counterclockwise slowly.<\/li>\n<li>Watch the bypass hose \u2014 the moment you see water start to trickle or flow out, you\u2019ve found the threshold pressure relief point.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Turn Another 180\u00b0 Counterclockwise:\n<ul>\n<li>Once flow begins, continue turning the knob another half turn (180\u00b0) to ensure a consistent and safe bypass.<\/li>\n<li>This relieves excess pressure and helps protect your pump and hoses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Tighten the Locknut:\n<ul>\n<li>With the setting dialed in, tighten the brass locknut firmly to hold the adjustment in place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This Method Works Best When:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You don\u2019t have a pressure gauge.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re doing a quick field setup.<\/li>\n<li>You want to protect the pump from pressure spikes during wand shut-off or deadhead situations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>1\u201d NPT threads default on elbow into proportioner.
